What the extension does

Listrank reads the content of Etsy pages you open in your browser and shows extra information on those pages: labels on search results, a panel on listing pages, and a rank checker for listings you choose to track. It runs only on www.etsy.com.

Data stored on your computer

• Listings you choose to track, the keywords you attach to them, and the rank history for those keywords.
• Your daily usage counters.
• For the shop audit: the listings CSV you choose is read in the page and not stored; only the keywords you edit per listing are kept.
• Your Pro license key and the trial or pass end date, if you activate a trial or Pro.

This data lives in your browser's extension storage. Uninstalling the extension deletes it.

Data that leaves your computer

1. License validation. When your 7-day trial starts, when you activate Pro, and at most once a day after that, your license key is sent to the Listrank API, which checks it with Payhip (the seller of record for Pro passes). Nothing else is sent with it.
2. Rank checks. To check where a tracked listing ranks, the extension requests Etsy search pages from a tab you already have open on www.etsy.com, the same way you would by searching. Those requests go to Etsy only and carry your normal Etsy session, nothing added by Listrank.

No browsing history, no page content other than the above, no personal data is collected, sold, or shared with advertisers.

Etsy shop connection ("Fix my shop")

This section applies to versions that include "Fix my shop". The connection is optional. Everything above works without it.

• You connect through Etsy's own sign-in page. Listrank asks Etsy for three permissions: read your shop, read your listings, and edit your listings.
• Etsy returns an access token and a refresh token. Both are stored in your browser's extension storage and nowhere else. Disconnecting, or uninstalling the extension, deletes them.
• Etsy requires every app to send its own secret key with each request, and that key cannot be shipped inside an extension. So each request to Etsy passes through the Listrank API, which adds the key and forwards the request to Etsy. The access token travels with that request. The Listrank API does not store it or write it to any log. It keeps one daily request counter per Etsy user number and per network address, and deletes them after a day.
• A scan reads your active listings (titles, tags, prices, inventory) and Etsy search results for each listing's keyword. The results are kept in your browser's extension storage. The Listrank API forwards them without keeping a copy.
• Listrank changes a listing only after you tick the change and press Apply. Before writing, it reads the listing again and skips it if you edited it on Etsy since the scan.
