Is eRank worth it?
Updated
eRank is worth it if you research Etsy keywords every day. The free plan allows 5 keyword lookups a day, and paid plans run from $5.99 to $29.99 a month. It is not built to show where your listing actually ranks. If that is your question, a free alternative such as Listrank covers it.
What eRank gives you for free
The free plan has no time limit. Each day it allows 5 keyword lookups, 5 listing audits and 1 use of the AI Listing Helper, and it covers one shop with up to 50 listings. That is enough to try the tool. It is thin for daily keyword work, because five lookups go quickly.
What the paid plans add
| Basic | Pro | Expert | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $5.99 | $9.99 | $29.99 |
| Billed yearly | $65.99 | $94.99 | $269.99 |
| Keyword lookups a day | 100 | 200 | 500 |
| Listing audits a day | 50 | 200 | 500 |
| Shops and listings | 5 shops, 200 listings | 10 shops, 4,000 listings | 100 shops, 5,000 listings |
| Competitors monitored | 5 | 50 | 200 |
When it is worth paying
eRank earns its fee when keyword research is a daily habit. You get demand estimates, listing audits and competitor tracking at a low monthly price, and the quotas are generous once you pass the free plan. Its plans page says more than 2 million sellers trust it, and its Chrome Web Store listing showed about 40,000 users on 4 October 2026.
When it is not
If your question is "where does my listing show up for this search?", a keyword tool answers a different question. eRank scores listings with grades, and a grade is a model, not a measured position. Some reviews also mention "session expired" errors; that is a reported problem we did not reproduce.
eRank alternative, free
- Listrank measures your organic position over up to 3 result pages. Free gives 30 rank checks a day and a CSV shop audit. It has no keyword volume.
- Alura has a free plan with up to 5 daily searches per tool and 10 listings to optimize.
- EverBee has a free Hobby plan that limits keyword research to 10 keywords.
The full list, with prices, is on the Etsy SEO tools page. For a side-by-side with eRank, see Listrank vs eRank.
Listrank is small and grows from what sellers ask for. If there is a check you would pay eRank for and cannot get here, tell us on the roadmap page.
